Celebrate Autumn with Expedia.co.uk

Alaskan cruises are normally taken from May to October, departing from Vancouver, although some start in San Francisco and a few from Alaska its self, leaving from the ports of Anchorage and Seward.
What to see?
Alaskan cruising offers the opportunity to visit the fjords and glaciers of this vast unspoilt land whilst still being in the luxury and comfort of their floating hotel, taking in the stunning scenery and wildlife of one of America's last frontiers.

The shore excursions are different too! You can take a floatplane or helicopter flight over the mountains and forests, seeing the mountain lakes and spotting bears and other wildlife, or try your hand at whitewater rafting and other water sports.

If the cruise is combined with an overland stay, visits to the great National Parks of Banff and Jasper in the Canadian Rockies are available, as well as to the Yukon and to Mt McKinley and other spectacular landmarks.
No Alaskan cruise is complete without looking for whales, dolphins and porpoises as well as sea otters and other wild life.
