A new lawn
As with most things in life - planning, preparation and perseverance
are the key elements for getting it right.
Turf or seed? They both take time, effort and money. Seeding
a new lawn takes longer to get establisted but produces a better
quality lawn where as using turf produces instant results. Seed
or Turf?

Winter is an ideal time to care for your garden tools. With
little going on in the garden, time can be spent preparing the equipment
for spring.
The mower can be serviced. It will run better and will last
longer.
Sharpern the blades of all hand equipment such as shears,
loppers, secateurs etc.
Clean all hand tools. If the handles are broken, either repair
or replace. If any metal parts are rusty then use sand the rust
back down and apply a thin coat of oil. Touching up with paint or
stain will keep your tools in tiptop condition.
Don't forget to completely empty the hose of water because
as water freezes it expands and can split the hose.
